Miles in India

Miles in India is a very interesting tribute album to Miles Davis done with Indian musicians and with the great Wallace Roney (who studied under Miles in the 80s) playing the parts of the master himself. Also appearing: John McLaughlin (on a few tracks). Produced by Bob Belden who produced all of the Miles Box sets for Columbia. This album brings you deep into an atmosphere of Indian music and instruments, and then sets a wide variety of Miles' music in this frame (including some of his 80s more pop flavored tunes and also some of his darkest 70s electric material).
